So I was doing some cleaning this weekend and decided to investigate the "air intake" that is in the bottom driver's side of the grill. It runs back and underneath the air box but not into the air box. I can't really tell what it's purpose is.
This picture is the bottom of the air box. It's...
No to the oil change.
It's possible to be power steering hose, but can't see where the line originates. That would make sense though being that the reservoir is on the passenger side.
So I had my HPFP replaced almost 10 days ago. Today while looking at something entirely different on my Jeep I noticed some oil (I think) drips. I started to chase down the source and came upon the hose (brass crimp) in the picture. This hose is under the air intake box and in front of the...
Question....does anyone know where the HPFP is located on the vehicle?
There's a lot of talk about fuel/water filter and looking for contamination there. It seems to me that this filter/seperator is just for "cleaning" the fuel before it's delivered to the HPFP system.
I would suspect there is a...
Just spoke with dealer. They confirmed parts are available.
According to them it is actually a new fuel pump (hopefully not a new version of same thing).
They are allowed to order 2 per week. Supposedly have my name on one of the next two that come in.
The UAW strike a parts distribution centers...
Does anyone know if the ecodiesel requires anti drain back valve in the filter? Looking at the STP extraguard from Autozone but it states NO anti drain back valve.
I have noticed the same hum. I notice it mostly above 60 mph and under light (barely pressing) the throttle. Coasting or giving more throttle makes it disappear. Also does not matter which gear it's in.
I had the passenger rear axle assembly replaced about a year ago for leaking seal. Installed...
This may be a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. Does anyone know if the factory wiring harness for e-lockers is already installed in non-rubicon models?
Thinking about installing Rubicon take off axles on my Sport-S and wondered how much of a PITA it will be to wire them in.
Has anyone done or seen a way to relocate the rear lower control arm mounts on the frame side? I've been beating mine on rocks, etc. pretty hard and they seem to be the things that scrape and hang up the most. Installed Rusty's skids on them over Christmas and first ride out already bent one...
I would recommend the lift, you can do it with 33s. I have the 2" lift and 33s and made it ok. That being said. 35s would make the one big boulder easier.
