Add me to the list: 2024 JTMX, 7,800 miles. I tried the silicone tubing, and still leaking - I will go back over my install and probably do it again to ensure a proper seal. I read through the 66 pages of this thread and it has me scared to take it to the dealer, but I got to thinking that the...
Any update or fix? I'm having this exact issue with the exception that my sunrider is currently installed. It looks like it is sealing properly from my initial investigation.
Everything seems rock solid. Put about 400 miles on it since the repair, shifts into 4H no problem, and quiet as a mouse. Haven't tried 4L, but the dealer said they did and it was good. I probably should test that myself though.
Update: Got it back yesterday 5/19/25. I've included the parts list below of what was replaced for the 4x4 components in case anyone is interested. It looks to me like they replaced stuff inside the front differential. Case, gears, seals, bearings, shims. Fwiw, there is no longer a knocking...

1) Taking doors and the top off was surprisingly easy. Once I figured out the clips for the front and pass doors and the rear defroster wiring; disassembly after that was just simple.
2) The doors are so much lighter than my JK
3) The top of the JT is also lighter. My wife and I are finally self...
Hello, can someone help me understand the 33" measurement? I only get 32" when I use a tape measure. The pics are a bit deceiving; they make it seem even less than 32"
Thanks in advance!
