Any issues with heat and running them under 30psi? I’ve always heard if it rises more than 10% due to heat and driving it’s too low. Right now i’m at 32psi and seen 35-36 after a 300 mile roadtrip.
Huh so MT advised I should run my ATs at 36psi until the sidewall breaks in. Running them now 32psi cold and the outer 1/2in tread blocks like many don’t even touch the ground. So he said run them at 36psi for a couple thousand and then do the chalk test. Seems a bit off to me. Just gonna leave...
Not related to cooling, on my JL i’m running a swayloc like others recommended and I can’t recommend it enough. Best of both worlds imo. On the highway I run it in the stiff rate, around town I run it in the soft rate. Using the remote control version that uses my compressor.
Dual zone atc works for me so far. It blows finally but the jeep is probably still processing it cause on the left side on the screen it was full heat and on the right max cold.
So i’m gonna let the uconnect sit with it for a little bit and see if the jeep figures it out.
Welp, worst case i’ll buy the dual zone stack eventually and just leave it on sync. Last resort now is gonna be dual zone atc. Gonna flash it on my break.
I’m trying to find a way to just get the blue red slider instead of the numbers. I think once you have it like that it’ll work fine.
My stock unit was single MTC with the old stack my radio was updating itself, and had the two icons and eventually had the single icon on the top left for single...
On the jl forum, another member i’ve been speaking with got his to work under dual zone atc. Everything worked except the “Max A/C” physical button. So maybe the trick is dual zone mtc and let it do it’s thing overnight.
Trying dual zone mtc and i’ll let y’all know what happens. I’m...
On the JL forum the other user had luck with dual atc, and getting an error code for the etorque. But mine seems fine. I’m gonna let the jeep do its thing for now with single atc and see what happens. I’m also reaching out to jscan to see if they can help.
So i installed it, left it as MTC for overnight for about 15 hours.
This morning I set it to single zone ATC, and disconnected the battery hoping to get it all updating. Will report in a few hours maybe overnight.
Dang. I think I’ll try it in my JL as single zone MTC and let it sit overnight and see if it triggers anything.
If that doesn’t work then i’m not too sure where to go from there. Do you know if I get a dual zone atc stack and just sync the sides if the temperature will be funky or do I need...
Sorry to bump this, but I’m about to install it into my JL the same stack.
If you changed it to dual zone MTC what happens? My sport isn’t wired for the temp sensor at all so I don’t think it’s an option for me to do auto if I want temp control.
Hey all,
I’m trying to find info on swapping mojave springs into my jeep. I’ve got rubi springs already I’m just trying to correct for weight up front now. My logic is that since the Mojave sits an inch higher than a JT rubi maybe it would have the same effect with my JLU.
I’ve read that the...
