Several years ago, my 08 wrangler was burning a quart of oil every 2500 miles. The mechanic put 2 cans of seafoam directly into it. He said huge amounts of black smoke came out. It never burned a drop between changes (5k) after that.
Wow Shadows!
Very weird here in Maine too. The precip last Monday/Tuesday, in my county (it was different everywhere) was just like beach sand. I mean, walking or driving on it was exactly like the beach. Snowblower would not move...sit and spin chains and all. Took me 6 shoveling sessions...
Wow! Sounds easier than I thought. Shoes would be a must, it's a gravel driveway! Thanks for the information and the detail Komato and Shadows. One last question, would this mess up the warranty? I did buy the extended (sort of regret that, but when they mentioned electronics...well). Do...
Weird storm in Maine Monday. Snowblower would not move through it. Thinking of a plow for the gladiator.
Good idea, bad idea? I know they are hard on the gear, but it would only be for a small driveway.

You make fun, but this is my observation. Watched the flush before burning 1 qt every 2k, and never burned oil after. Sometimes, observation may lead clues to undiscovered results. Be Well.
Well,
I have seen this on the site a lot. My personal data has shown a couple of things. Top Tier, better mileage. On a side note, I had a wrangler that burned 1qt of oil ever 2k. After my mechanic flushed the system out with seafoam... never burned a quart between changes. He told me to...
I don't know how fast this is happening...I remember an article in Scientific American 20 years ago where they were experimenting with electric 4 wheel drive trucks, with a motor on each wheel. Now it's starting to materialize, but it's been in the works for awhile. Might be pretty cool.
I went back to the funnel with the drip proof gas cans. Way to much work to use. Pop in the funnel, open the can, pour in the gas. Oh, and don't spill. Hate the drip proof. I try to find old gas cans at yard sales.
