I live in the NW as well and would like to put this on for the summer and go back to the freedom tops in the winter. Does anyone know what it takes to swap this out? How long? Does anyone do what I'm suggesting or do you really need to stick with it year round?

I have a stock rub with the AT tires. I have 5k miles on the truck and am getting 23 mpg in mixed driving. I do much better on freeway, but that is my all in number right now.

I have them on my Rubicon. They help quite a bit and I like the look better than the other options. Fairly simple install.

For what its worth, I have the exact same rig as yours. I picked it up about 6 weeks ago and only have 2,000 miles, but it has been perfect. I live in Oregon and it rains a lot! No water leaks. I absolutely love this thing. I think you need to try again!
