  1. 🚙 YOUR Dream Wrangler or Gladiator

The only thing I really wish my Mohave had is more engine. I think a factory Plain Jane 5.7L would be about perfect. I was spoiled by the 23 F-150 I had with the 3.5L EB. 400 hp and 500 ft lb of torque. The 23 Colorado I had wasn't bad either. 310 hp and 430 ft lb torque. I tow a small...
  2. FRAM and Champion Labs Affected by First Brands Bankruptcy

I took this pic in the local Walmart a few days ago. Pretty empty. Over on BITOG there is talk of Walmarts being restocked with Purolator Gold filters. Filters now days are a global thing. You can buy two of the same brand and part number filter and they will be made in two different...
  3. First oil change 3.6 2026 Mojave 1196 mi

I think you're ok. That is pretty much how my filter looked at it's first change at just under 800 miles. A subsequent filter looked much better. A used oil analysis at 5k miles showed my engine was doing fine.
  4. Cheap Gas Kills Your Engine

I've been watching his stuff for awhile. Interesting video. Non ethanol gas is rare around here. Only one station (Maverick) offers it for the same price as premium. I use Maverick because they offer a club card that will give you minimum 10 cents off a gallon. It's not Top Tier gas so I...
  5. Let’s see your pets cause they are the best companion you can have!!!!!

My boy Cooper during one of our camping trips. I lost him in January due to a fast growing mass in his abdomen. I sure miss the big goofball.
  6. Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Towing Failure - Sensor Seal Rupture - Disappointed

This is what I'm towing with my JTM. 3.250 pounds gross weight. I keep my highway speeds under 65 mph. Even at that it struggles. My previous truck was a 23 Colorado ZR2 with the TurboMax engine. I like my Mojave but admit I miss the power and torque of that engine.
  7. Warranty - Long Block Replacement

Well that's depressing. That's the same time I bought my Mojave. Glad they took care of it for you.
  8. Joined the Retro Wheel Club with my '22 Rubicon.

Big improvement. Look much better than whatever abomination was on it. Back in my younger days I thought the white wagon wheels were the bomb and put them on several trucks.
  9. What is in this tool kit?

You could build one for a lot less. Not the best pic but readable.
  10. What if Jeep switched from Wrangler based to Recon?

Doesn't look bad but I don't think it could replace a Wrangler/Gladiator. It may as well be a Bronco.
  11. California JCR Molle bed side panels (1 pair) $250.obo

Do you still have the box to ship these?
  12. 5.3 wiring

Can't say I blame you. I would likely do the same thing if my Mojave eats it's cams. Wouldn't be a Toyota though. They're not what they used to be.
  13. What grade gear oil are you running in your Rubicon?

Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-140 is one of the best. I've used it in my JKU and my 21 JT. My 25 Mojave will get it eventually when I service the axles. Sure wish JTs still had the differential drain plugs. Friction modifier is not needed with a Rubicon locker.
  14. Hooke Road New Release Bed Molle Panels

Looks good. I've been wanting some panels for my JT. I think these will do the job. Off to your website.
  15. Cam failure question/poll

I've been a Jeep guy for a long time. This is my second Gladiator and obviously I like them a lot. That said, I'm not married to it. If this eats the cams I would likely get it fixed under warranty, trade it in and move on.
  16. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

In this part of the country 91 Octane is as good as it gets. Higher elevations, stations sell 85 octane and call it regular.
  17. Nevada 2025 Mojave Takeoff Wheels and Tires - less than 1000 miles - $1500

Lol! Well, your location shows New Jersey. Plus NV is a big state.
  18. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

I traded a 23 Colorado ZR2 for my 25 Mojave. I have to admit I miss the power and torque of that 2.7L TurboMax engine. There were other things about the Colorado I didn't care for but It did a great job hauling my 3,250 pound rPod. My Mojave will haul the trailer with good stability but...
