The only thing I really wish my Mohave had is more engine. I think a factory Plain Jane 5.7L would be about perfect.
I was spoiled by the 23 F-150 I had with the 3.5L EB. 400 hp and 500 ft lb of torque. The 23 Colorado I had wasn't bad either. 310 hp and 430 ft lb torque.
I tow a small...
I took this pic in the local Walmart a few days ago. Pretty empty. Over on BITOG there is talk of Walmarts being restocked with Purolator Gold filters.
Filters now days are a global thing. You can buy two of the same brand and part number filter and they will be made in two different...
I think you're ok. That is pretty much how my filter looked at it's first change at just under 800 miles. A subsequent filter looked much better.
A used oil analysis at 5k miles showed my engine was doing fine.
I've been watching his stuff for awhile. Interesting video.
Non ethanol gas is rare around here. Only one station (Maverick) offers it for the same price as premium.
I use Maverick because they offer a club card that will give you minimum 10 cents off a gallon. It's not Top Tier gas so I...
This is what I'm towing with my JTM. 3.250 pounds gross weight. I keep my highway speeds under 65 mph. Even at that it struggles.
My previous truck was a 23 Colorado ZR2 with the TurboMax engine. I like my Mojave but admit I miss the power and torque of that engine.
Big improvement. Look much better than whatever abomination was on it.
Back in my younger days I thought the white wagon wheels were the bomb and put them on several trucks.
Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-140 is one of the best. I've used it in my JKU and my 21 JT. My 25 Mojave will get it eventually when I service the axles. Sure wish JTs still had the differential drain plugs.
Friction modifier is not needed with a Rubicon locker.
I've been a Jeep guy for a long time. This is my second Gladiator and obviously I like them a lot.
That said, I'm not married to it. If this eats the cams I would likely get it fixed under warranty, trade it in and move on.
I traded a 23 Colorado ZR2 for my 25 Mojave. I have to admit I miss the power and torque of that 2.7L TurboMax engine. There were other things about the Colorado I didn't care for but It did a great job hauling my 3,250 pound rPod.
My Mojave will haul the trailer with good stability but...
