I’ve got a cheap Iron Rock Off-road spacer lift that came with shock extensions. I HATE the extensions and want them off my truck but can’t squeeze new shocks into the budget right now. Can I run the stock shocks without the extensions strictly on the road?
I’m looking for a pair of front springs to give me around 3 inches of actual lift (2.75-3.25). Will the 2” Mopar coils do it? I know most coils are rated for how much lift they give a Rubicon
I see brackets sold anywhere from $95 to $350 plus. Are there any brands that I should absolutely avoid? Id like to keep it inexpensive but don’t want to buy junk. I’m specifically looking at Rubicon Express. Opinions on that bracket?
I’m looking at piecing together a “poor man’s” mopar lift kit by just buying the springs and Bilstein 5100s. I’ll be using 2 inch spacers for the rear. I’m hoping the Mopar springs provide more than 2 inches of lift in my sport S to eliminate/minimize the rake. Are the Mopar lower control arms...
What are the best shocks I can get in the $4-600 range? I’d love Fox or Falcon but they’re not in the budget. I really need to get these Iron Rock shock extensions off of this thing. . So far the leader is Bilstein 5100s for around $440. Also looking for opinions on Rancho 9000XL. 2 inch lift...
Is it possible to add aftermarket (viper, drone, etc) phone control to my factory remote start? I have the 7 inch radio now. I don’t really want to have a full aftermarket remote starter installed because I don’t want another huge key fob.
About a year ago I put 35s and Rocktrix wheels on my JT. I bought a new set of OEM TPMS sensors and had them installed. After a few months the TPMS failed and now doesn’t read anything. First one wheel dropped, then another, then the other 2 at once, all within a month. The dealer is telling me...
Just wondering what everyone has done? I know about the Kenwoods, but that doesn’t address the lower dash speakers. I know about the Terra acoustics but they’re pretty expensive (I’d probably try them at $150) and also do nothing to address the lower dash speakers. I do have a few older sets of...
How much lift does the Mopar 2” actually give on a sport S Max Tow? Is it the same lift all around or does it lift the front more than the rear? Thanks
I’m so damn confused by lift kits and springs. Seems everything is measured on a rubicon or gives more lift than it’s rated for. Looking for a pair of springs to lift my Sport S max tow front end 2.5-3 inches.
I currently have a 2 inch lift in the front. Looking to go up another inch to inch and a half. I’m wondering what method I should use to correct caster. Clayton and Metalcloak use adjustable upper arms. Molar uses longer fixed lowers. I’m also looking at control arm relocation brackets. I’ll be...
Title says it all. Went on a trip over the weekend, about 5 hours total at 72-76mph. Had lots of wind noise from the top of the windshield/freedom panels. Anything I could try to remedy this?
Has anyone done this? I’ve got a pair of stock halogens I took out of my wife’s JLU. Kicking around the idea of doing a retrofit for my Gladiator instead of buying Oracles
I’m looking for a set of front coils to lift my Sport S (with Max Tow if that matters) 3”. I’m confused because it seems everyone advertises their coils differently. Rock Krawler advertises a 3 inch coil but when I contacted them they said it’s 3” on a Rubicon and would be more on my Sport...
Anyone running RK 3 inch coils on a non-Rubicon/Mojave by themselves or as part of a lift kit? Wondering if they provide a true 3 inches of lift or if they’re taller or shorter. I’m looking for a true 3” coil to replace my 2 inch spacers and level my truck...
Looking for shocks for both my Gladiator and the wife’s JLU. both were lifted with spacer lifts and factory shocks in relocation brackets. The factory shocks just aren’t up to the task of taming 35s so I want to remove the relocation brackets and put shocks on that are made for 2-3 inches of...
