For anyone concerned with crushing the bed rails - I installed the DiamondBack SE without the shims. Zero crushing (That I can see while it's installed) after 10 days and re-tightened twice. Maybe if I ever remove the cover the bed rails will be crushed a bit, but taking off the rails to install...

I ordered a DiamondBack SE on Friday, going to arrive next week. I emailed them to ask if the shims come with it, here's their response. "Yes, the shims are complete and now part of all Gladiator orders"

Hey, just bought a Mojave and just created an account here. I also happened to just order a DiamondBack SE and came across this thread. Sounds like a pretty minor issue but I am curious if you get those shims and if anyone can posts some pics. Thanks.
