Those are the ones im using as well. They are cheap and work very well. I will confirm the one shot warning as well. I actually used some masking tape to place them temporally and did a test drive around the block to make sure i liked the placement.
I would probably see if you can return it. I have the rough country one since November. Fit is not great front panel doesn't flip up. While i haven't noticed an deterioration like above yet i feel the rubber in between the panels has stretched a bit causing it to not exactly sit flat. Its not...
I was at that event and believe i chatted with you guys on line for the bathroom. I agree with everything you said it really is great to make you feel comfortable with your vehicle. I ordered a hitch skid but didn't receive it in time. Could have used it as a scrapped a bit on the hitch however...
I forgot to ask what knifeless did you use. Im looking at the 3m finish line but not sure that will work for the angles around the taillights. Not sure if i need design line.
Thanks to you both for your replies. I think im now covinced that i should so deep matte 2080 with knifeless. which was basically where i was at but the satin idea popped in my head in the last week for some reason.
Looks great. Do mind sharing more about your wrap. Did you do it yourself? What did you use was it raw vinyl or a kit? I was looking at 3m 2080 in satin but your matte looks so good now im conflicted.
would you say the black on the new ones are a satin or gloss? i cant quite tell from the pics. I also think i like the red of your originals too. Is the new red that much darker than the original? thanks
Im curious about the same thing. Im also leaning heavily toward wrapping my tailgate black first which would make it a moot point. Im currently in paralysis by analysts mode which is where i spend most of my life.
