I’ve got a Airstream Basecamp 20x I pull with my JTRD with and Andersen Weight Distribution Hitch. It’s the best WDH I’ve ever used and the easiest to hitch & go. Takes less than 2 minutes as the weight distribution chains don’t have to be removed.

I gave up trying to get a clone as the dealerships in my area didn’t want to do it.

Swapping the ECU is the more difficult task. I had mine unlocked this week, reinstalled the ecu last night, and I’m installing the tune this evening.

I talked to GDE and they no longer have to do a bench flash which mitigates the need for a clone. They are only unlocking the PCM and the user applies the tune or returns to stock while installed on the vehicle.

I’m having a difficult time getting dealerships to do the cloning. They get concerned about compatibility of the new PCM I am supplying because they didn’t order it and ask to see my receipt to insure it is brand new. Then they start asking why I need it done and who advised me to do it.
