    The 12" is from the step. I just went out and measured. The top of rse step is higher than the stock rockslider. It would be better with the lift. I took a straight edge from the bottom of the frame which is a couple of inches below the frame of the step.
  4. Tinted the windshield

    I run racing optics with a 3 layer non tint plastic on the outside. It's been 9 months on the 3rd layer, I've had rock hits, no damage. It's important to have a non pitted windshield. I do wax it to prolong the layers.

    They would work fine on stock hight. It does not drop below the frame. The step drops 6 inches below the frame, 8 inches below the rse frame. ,
