So whatās the wind noise like? I just installed a camper and believe or not wind noise has reduced. I would definitely gain some storage space with the rack but donāt want to add any noise in return.
I live in Minnesota, have a 21 gladiator with 23000 miles. Original owner and never charged the battery, occasionally I get the stop start not available. Never had a problem.
I miss my TJ with its soft top and half doors. Iād spend the winters in AZ with the half doors off and summers with the rear window rolled up and sides zipped out. Now with my gladiator I never take the doors off-being Iām in Minnesota.
Wonderful news, best news in a while for Jeep. This might actually streamline things for Jeep and bring prices under control. Plus they can focus on a hemi V8 now and another trim line.
Iāve been looking at either going with a GoFast camper or a Lonepeak. Both are great but come at a weight cost and neither are easy to remove. They are more for a permanent build out. Maybe going with a rack system from Xtrusion overland might make more sense and is quite portable and easily...
What happens if your ess battery is dead? I havenāt had the ess function working for me for the last 2 years and my truck sits a lot thru Minnesota winters. I only out about 5000 miles on it a year and do not use a trickle charger. Never had an issue starting my truck.
Iām thinking about getting a lone peak and am wondering how the added weight has affected the ride along with the wind noise/resistance. Also has your mpg gone down? Thanks!
I can see trucks sitting and heat and cold being the issue. My ESS stopped working about a year or more ago. Guess the battery is dead, but never got a battery warning light. When I click on the ess button nothing happens but the light on the button lights up and once in a while Iāll get a...
Iām looking to do the same, yet in a Willys. All the looking is ridiculous. Iām leaning to an Evo lift. Their Overland option is closest to what I need. Itās built to allow for overlanding and added weight to your rig.
Whichever model you decide on you should emphasize payload capacity as one of the top priorities. My WILLYS is only rated at 990 lbs. Definitely go for a Mojave or Rubicon if you really need the capacities. Theyāll also hold their value more.
