4H Auto (not 4H Part-Time) should be OK to leave it in when there's rain, light snow, when the wheels can 'slip' while turning. I believe that system uses a 'clutch type' system so you don't bind the front wheels. It shouldn't hurt it on dry pavement, but why have it on when it's not needed...
The reason I use the Mopar oil filter, my friend used to be a mechanic for another make dealership. He said they had an âoutâ if you had an engine problem due to oil starvation using a brand other than the manufacturerâs, saying it was the failure. They wonât say that about their own filters!
Wheel herrings, frames and DOT wonât be an issue if you stay within the trucks specs for towing and hauling. On my RAM 1500, towing a 1/2 Tom towable 5th Wheel RV, I use AirLift Air Bags, no sagging whatsoever. Stay legal!
Reason I have my Indy Mechanic do the oil change, on my last JK, oil drain plug had issues coming out. My Mechanic had to get a new plug. Could just see my Wifeâs reaction if I got oil all over our driveway if I did it myself.
Not starting another oil thread, but I buy my own oil (Amsoil Signature Series), Mopar oil filter and give my Mechanic $20 to change and lube. I stay clean and itâs worth knowing itâs done right!
