  1. Leaking axle seal?

Just checking in, I’m now on my second set of replacement axle shafts (reasons unrelated to the axle seal) and they have been fine as well. Heavy, and I mean very heavy wheeling. so stock shafts from assembly, leaked. Replaced with Dana spicer chromoly, no leaks for 20 thousand miles. Replaced...
  2. Leaking axle seal?

One person said it won’t solve the problem. He also didn’t say he did the upgrade himself and made a blanket statement seemingly with no first hand experience. I installed mine over 10k miles ago at this point. No issues since. So now it’s 1:1 based on that thread, and I’m first hand. Take it...
  3. Leaking axle seal?

A SET of chromoly shafts currently go for about 430. That includes new bearings and seals. Plus 2 hours of your time assuming you can use a jack and a socket set.
  4. Leaking axle seal?

Update… 7k miles later and no issues after replacing with the aftermarket chromoly Dana axle shafts with the seals already on with delivery. I’ve driven HARD. Off-road, burnouts, Hard launches, etc In my head this is a MOPAR issue. Be it whatever seals they use or whatever machine is...
  5. Leaking axle seal?

Dealers refusing coverage because of re gear. You can see my complaints about that earlier in this thread funny enough.
  6. Leaking axle seal?

Hey, that’s me lol. Also… not leaking since replacing myself… 450 bucks, chromoly shafts, and less than 2 hours was worth not having to waste time at dealerships. Warranty work doesn’t cover your time.
  7. Leaking axle seal?

Closing the loop on my comments about getting the warranty work... a re-gear apparently voids the entire warranty on all aspects of the axle assembly. As anyone who has removed axle shafts knows... there is no more wear sliding the axles out and in a single time than what would have been caused...
  8. Leaking axle seal?

Actually, I just crawled under and looked for myself. (Which I should have done in the first place) It's definitely just one of the rears. (Drivers Side) I hedged my bets and put in an order for loaded chromoly upgrades from northridge4x4 I imagine this may come up for anyone who re-geared...
  9. Leaking axle seal?

I guess I’m joining the club. 3 of 4 leaking. Also I run 5.13’s so my main dealership refused to do this work under warranty. If you change the brake pads do they not warranty a caliper issue because you touched the caliper? hopefully Jeep cares actually... cares.
