  1. Death Wobble, DW, Death Wobble, DW, Death Wobble, Shimmy, Wander, Drift, Bump Steer

44k miles. My first time and it wasnā€™t bad. I rented a ball joint press from the auto parts store. Worst part was the stuck hubs. I had to get a tool off Amazon to break them free. Lots of good YouTube videos helped as well.
  2. Death Wobble, DW, Death Wobble, DW, Death Wobble, Shimmy, Wander, Drift, Bump Steer

@Free2roam I just realized my earlier comment wasnā€™t on this thread. These diesels are heavy and I donā€™t think the factory ball joints are adequate. Mine were all shot when I took them off.
  3. Sector Shaft Brace(Synergy vs Steer Smart)

I got it from Poly Performance. Use code Syn12 and you get 12% off.
  4. Sector Shaft Brace(Synergy vs Steer Smart)

I did ball joints at the same time as the Synergy bracket a short while back when I was having death wobble problems. I put in Teraflex HD ball joints that are adjustable. My issues cleared up. A couple weeks ago they came back and I started chasing the problem. I rechecked the ball joints after...
  5. Sector Shaft Brace(Synergy vs Steer Smart)

Synergy has updated their bracket. Now it does not require any cutting or grinding like it used to. It was an easy install on my diesel.

  7. Death Wobble, DW, Death Wobble, DW, Death Wobble, Shimmy, Wander, Drift, Bump Steer

Iā€™m in the same exact battle right now. I will know tomorrow how much 1/16 is because I rotated 1/2 a turn and it is going back on the alignment rack. I think that bushing is hanging out on all gladiators. Mine is out and Iā€™ve seen other posts on it.
  8. Installed Synergy ball joints transformed the ride

I just replaced mine last week at 40k and they were exactly the same as yours. It felt like the only resistance was the rubber boot on both the uppers and lowers.

  11. Apex autolynx quick disconnect

Glad it works. That was the first thing they asked me to check since it is the only moving part in their system. I wish mine did, there is no alternative like this product.
  12. Apex autolynx quick disconnect

No noise after reinstalling factory. We tried increasing torque. We also tried loosening the swaybar and retightening it. I videoed it with myGoPro but couldnā€™t see movement anywhere. It sure sounds like it is in the swaybar connection but I canā€™t be certain.
  13. Apex autolynx quick disconnect

I would suggest reaching out to Apex directly and see what they say.
  14. Apex autolynx quick disconnect

I was not able to identify the root cause. I have been working directly with Apex and they have been very supportive but no solution. I am sending mine back to them now to be inspected.

  17. Apex autolynx quick disconnect

Well all washers are out and it is still popping / clunking. Very frustrating. Iā€™m going to contact Apex. Also planning to put my GoPro on it to see what is happening.
