I’m still looking for a way to withdraw diesel from my Gladiator fuel tank for an Espar Hydronic heater. I have seen several ways to do it, but I think the best way would be a direct connection to the tank.
I have seen spin weld fittings added to water tanks and that seems like an ideal...
I have a Gladiator Rubicon Diesel with an Alu-cab camper mounted onto the bed. I have a 550 watt solar panel mounted on top of the camper. I’m using a victron solar controller to charge my 600 amp hour Lifepo4 batteries mounted low on the front of the bed. I have a dc/dc charger to charge...
I had the flexible solar panel option (incredibly expensive) installed on my Alu-cab camper. I would warn anyone who has them, mine were destroyed in a single hail storm. They couldn’t put out even 1 amp afterward. They had hundreds of dents in the surface. The cells inside were likely...
I’m also trying to find how the gas tank is constructed and what material it’s constructed from. If its just HDPE, I might try to spinweld a small female fitting onto it. This would be a good solution.
I have read some diesel tanks are 2 layer construction, with an inner white lining that is...
Sounds like a good idea, but somewhere I read there were 2 flapper valves in that tube, one higher and one lower. I also have read you cant get a tube down there because of the lower one. Is this right or is my memory just messing with me again?
Update. The separate fuel tank is working for heating showers, but not good enough for heating the entire alu-cab camper in cold weather. I plumbed in a radiator/blower for heating the camper when its in the 30’s and below. I used at least a gallon in one night for a toasty warm, no blanket...
I received a high performance flat panel Starlink antenna, with all the trimming’s, to mount on my diesel rubicon gladiator. High speed Internet without cell service, cell phone over Wi-Fi calling, remotely updating my website, and watching movies off the grid if I feel like i….
I initially had a mind bending amount of trouble with my 2021 diesel Rubicon Gladiator, but with perseverance, I finally got the exhaust particle filter replaced. Since then I’ve had no trouble.
Frankly, this is the most fantastic Jeep I have ever owned. I absolutely love the diesel. I’m...
I have installed an Eberspacher Hydronic S3 D5E CS 12V water/engine heater on my 2021 ecoDiesel Rubicon. Its to supply heat and hot showers for my Alu-Cab camper. I currently have it fueled from a Rotopax tank mounted on the rear door. I have used this successfully on several excursions. I...
