Hey bud. I actually own Gladius Offroad and designed the bracket. It's been 9 months or so, I was just curious if you noticed any rotation. I left the index peg off to keep cost down, and the plastic one was so small, I figured it really didn't do much anyways. I originally designed it for my...
My 20 JTR, 22k miles has a tik tik tik that I can hear inside the cab, middle pass side. It gets most noticeable at 3k and up and speeds up width engine speed. Almost like when you vibrate your tongue I guess, lol.
Is this what you guys are seeing? It's sounding like it doesn't hurt anything...
Ya, pretty nuts. They are now sending me a new module. I really hope this fixes it. I've pulled it in and out of the dash 20+ times already. On a good note, putting it in the dash is pretty easy now.
Glad you got it sorted out. Stinger wants me to open up the camera module and solder some wire or something. I said no. That's way beyond the scope of a brand new radio install. I'm guessing there is no warranty on it if that's their solution. It's about ready to be returned. I've had it with it...
I got my steering wheel controls to work. The directions show it plugging into a black plug. It's wrong. I had to plug it into a red one. That fixed it.
I replaced the hdmi for the reverse cam today. It worked for a few minutes but I had to go back into the dash to fix an RCA so when I opened...
I know a lot of you guys run them. I just installed mine. Anyone had issues with the rear view mirror and/or steering wheel controls not working? I'v been talking to tech support but not getting anywhere. I've checked every connection multiple times, updated the firmware, etc.
I'm so...
I had talked to you guys via email and last siggestion was to try rubber hose. I'll try and call and see if maybe we can come up with something different. Anyone specific to talk to?
Im confused. I have the factory blue isolators on, I have wrapped most of the first few turns with rubber hose, I've made sure the little nipple on the top factory isolator is in the tiny hole at the top of the bucket. I've wrapped the inside the coil bucket with foam even. And still get this...
I was able to work through most of mine. Some caused by an amp. Some caused by alternator whine. I moved some wires, installed filters, and a new amp. Still have a little whine but it's minimal.
I did a LOT of photoshopoing to get a color I liked. A lot of colors I wanted, I couldn't find. Like lime green. I wanted a metallic and gloss. Nobody makes it. The ones that were close, always out of stock. I chose between this and purple.
Ya, the top would be tough. I'm still not sure about that part, but I really don't take the top off that much either. Honestly, I'll probabky out plugs on the lights so I can disconnect them easily, then just take the roll bar off to remove the top. I'm hoping someone comes out with a frame less...
Ya, I hear ya. The static drives me nuts. I am pretty sure it's not the PAC audio harness any more and it's my amp. I ran the amp off my cell phone and still had static. But who knows. I really don't wanna dump $2k into a new head unit but I agree that may be the only way.
As far as I know it works with most top fit tonneau covers. I had to kinda rig the front mounts on mine until I can make longer rods but it was no big deal and it's actually working fine. I just switched the hand knobs and J hooks over to a large washer and nut for the time being. I dig the fan...
It works fine, but will only fold the first fold. This is why I'm still torn 9n the roll bar but it's honestly not that hard to remove either. I'll most likely remove the roll bar for fall/winter when I use the bed more for hunting. And to be honest, I just mounted the lights and haven't hooked...
