The question really becomes..if it’s only 30-45 secs, can you just put up with it if it is preventing problems? The answer is yes. But, why the hell don’t I have the same mechanism on my 1999 Land Cruiser, or my 1987 and 1992 Mercedes, which never have this aggravating feature?

Asking same question, of my 2021 Rubicon. Someone said bad heat valve. Opening or closing when it shouldn’t and letting heat in or something?

Yes, we set the temp for each side.

2021 Gladiator Rubicon. Every once in a while, while A/C is running, we’ll feel it get warmer suddenly. Some warm air entering, seems to be coming from below, then back to normal. Went to Jeep said everything is perfect. It continues to happen. Heat valve? Appreciate opinions.

Hey, I have a canvas roll up, which is from Jeep It has loops on each side in the back to secure it down before tailgate is closed. You lock the truck, tailgate locks, but cover can be opened.

Since I already have this cover, Thought I would may a little more deterrent. Yeah probable need to replace it, ouch. Thanks for the quick reply Happycoop.

I’ve got a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon, love it. Going on trip north, just found out our bed cover, roll up type, can’t be locked. Are there any after market solutions to this?
