    Nope. Speakers are actually different. There is no Alpine branding on them, but the Alpine speakers have different part numbers than the non-Alpine speakers.

    Best bet is to connect to battery and use an in-line fuse.

    It's 4 torx bolts and a harness or 2 to unclip. I believe the bolts are T50 or T55. They take a bit for force to break loose, but it's doable.

    Keep an eye on your battery/batteries. Could be a sign of possible failure. If it keeps happening have the entire ESS system checked.

    Why? Because I'm explaining exactly what that light actually is and pointing out that it doesn't mean ESS is off? Use the button in the center stack to turn off ESS and report back if that light turns on. Let's leave it at that.
