I never said it should be free. I paid for all of my licenses. I am licensed in just about every element the FCC has. I used to work on avionics so I have my GROL (paid), HAM (Paid), as well as the GMRS (paid). I have also been using CB for years.
I truly believe the GMRS guys are just trying to get all of the CBers onboard because they don't have anybody to talk to at this point. I still can't understand what everybody is of afraid of with HAM radio. My first contact came on the day I was issued a license and the old timers on the other...
...and remarkably I have more privileges to enjoy than some dead GMRS. Interestingly, why isn't GMRS free if you believe FCC is not pushing it. If they weren't pushing it you wouldn't have Jeep and Midland peddling that crap.
What I don't understand is why people think CB is dead. I hear traffic on my CB every single day. Also, no license is required. FCC is pushing GMRS due to the fact you have to pay for the license and people are gobbling it up like it's free candy. I have HAM, CB and GMRS in my JT. I get nothing...
I have a question, where are the vents behind the seats? I have a Sport S and there are no vents behind my seats. Just a couple of mesh storage nets. Thanks for the information.
I went with the Leonard buildings and truck accessories. They do a fine job and I have used them before in other trucks. Same warranty as line-x and they have material. I was told the base material that is used in line-x and rhino and bullet are the same so it doesn't matter which one you go...
It's funny how everybody these days worries about what it looks like. It's not about what it looks like, it's about can it go where you want it to go! I am not sure anybody has seen the first Jeep. It could go places nobody knew a vehicle could go. It's ability not beauty. I have to laugh when I...
This is my opinion and worth a grain of salt to someone maybe. I have been a rubicon guy since the rubicon surfaced with TJ. I bought a Sport S for the basics. It is fully capable from the factory. It tows well and I can make my personal upgrades. The only thing I want is to level it some and...
I am just going to say this. It seems dealers (at least in my area) are trying to sell old inventory. I got my JT pretty cheap and they gave me a good price on my 13 year old wrangler. You may get a JT at a good price. It's worth a look anyway.
Yea it was early and hell I didn't know what I was writing. It's just a suggestion. I have never tried a new bolt but I tighten mine down to snug....trying not break anything. It's more of a deterrent than anything.
yea the torx screws on the latches. I keep mine tight at all times unless I loosen them to remove the top. You could put a security screw in one of those to throw off would be thieves. I apologize, it is early.
Thanks Punknhead. My camper with a full load is not that much. Maybe 4500 if the water is full. I will get the distribution hitch just to be sure.
Thanks for replying Lucky1
When you have a load or towing something like a camper (if you do any of that stuff) does it pull the rear end down any? I want to level my Gladiator but I am afraid towing my camper will pull the rear end down too far and look like those fools with the carolina squat.
