If jeep really wants to be competitive and get a big leg up over their competition, they should offer the 5.7 as an engine option. They would sell themselves. It would be a 4k upgrade and would attract numerous buyers. Sure the 6.4 is cool but its unreasonable for most.
If you get a tonneau cover, you can't use a rack system as they don't work well together. If you can get it, the trail rail system is an excellent upgrade. Also the jeep steel bumper can be converted into a stubby and looks good. Just my 2 cents.
I own a heavy haul trucking company and I recommend a warmup and cool down period on diesels. Warm up to properly lubricate everything in the motor amd a cool down after hard driving so your turbo doesn't get heat baked by hot oil. It tends to serve me well. Just my 2 cents.
The metal cloak under skid plate is amazing. The fit and quality are second to none. I have it on my JKU, it is extremely heavy duty. When my JT diesel comes in, I'll be getting them. Worth the money.
I read another post that Hill-Kelly was a good dealer. Someone in another forum recommended Seth Wadley in OK because all their vehicles come with lifetime warranty and engines for the life of the vehicles.
So I am looking to buy a Gladiator Rubicon Diesel and I'm looking for recommendations on a below invoice dealer around the AL Gulf Coast area. I'm willing to travel up to 500 miles, or further for the right deal. I own a heavy haul trucking company so vehicle transport isn't an issue. Thanks...
