I know a lot of others had. I verified the part #s on my shocks and they match the 2-3” lift. I’m almost thinking that they might have gotten them mislabeled and I’m running a longer shock than what I should be.
The brake lines are short not long. What makes me think that there is an issue is that if I picked my truck up on a lift it would 100% rip my brake lines.
I agree except that so many others are running it without the brake lines which they don’t include in the kit. The shocks allow for so much droop that the springs get loose and could become unseated.
Anybody running the Clayton 2.5” lift and Fox 2.0 2-3” shocks. Clayton recommends these shocks but with this setup I’m unable to put my truck on a lift because the shocks are to long and stretch my brake lines. Anything I should have done differently? Pretty disappointed that I spent all this...
I did grease it and probably haven’t drove 60 miles tops with it since installing. The noise is definitely coming from the circled area so unless there’s some friction between that plate causing the shaft to bind I wouldn’t think that would be the issue but it’s worth a try. I appreciate it.
Just installed a 2.5” Clayton lift and Synergy Sector Shaft Brace and now while I’m sitting still and barely moving the steering wheel from side to side I’m getting a clunking/thudding noise coming from where the steering shaft connects to the box. Is this normal and I’ve just not noticed it...
With your 2.5” overland + kit on a Rubicon (currently am NOT running a winch or steel bumper) will a 3/4” spacer in the front be too big to be level? I don’t want to be higher in the front than in the back. Also, if I add that spacer will by Fox 2.0 2-3” shocks still be ok with that much lift in...
I’m waiting on my Clayton 2.5” overland + kit for my Rubicon. I know that the Clayton kit leaves some rake and I’d prefer a more level look. I’m looking for pictures and insight from those of you running the kit on a rubicon and what spacer (.5 or 3/4”) you used to achieve level. I currently...
Atleast you were able to speak to someone. I used the Jeep Chat to find out mine was there. Still haven’t been able to confirm through Gupton. Can’t get a reply to an email and when I call the lady has been instructed to not pull calls through. I realize they’re busy but I’m located 4 hrs away...
