Found some hardware that was included, some nice torx screws. Picked up a HF apex 12k on sale for 390+tax so that might become a thing, not sure I’d use it much though.
They supplied many different pieces but I couldn’t find anything to go in them, I need to look again. The plastic piece doesn’t align perfect so the size is smaller, I’m going to get some push pin to go in there or maybe smaller torx head bolts.
They are method wheels with the bead grip, I like them a lot, they are 26# per wheel. It took the tire shop some effort to get the old tires off. They hold the bead good, I saw Dirtlifestyle on yt ran them down to single digit psi and held the bead, never broke or slipped.
These were on sale at Walmart for $1186, with tax and 19$ mount fee. These are 3 peak rated M+S, good siping and wide tread blocks, quiet on the road. 37x12.5x17 D load 69# per tire. Took 8, 6.5, 5 & 0 oz to balance. I’m happy with the 20 mi I’ve put on to them so far.
Was able to look at this today. It is aluminum with steel inner structure. I haven’t the lights or anything else on it yet so the weight will increase. 38 pounds as it sits. It came with the winch plate and a light bar also. It’s going to be some time until I get it bolted on but a solid...
I just had one of these delivered yesterday from Amazon, 305$ to my door. It came with the hoop and a steel winch plate. Package weighted 90lbs, haven’t had a chance to dig through it yet to really inspect it.
The model is scheduled for a refresh in 28, maybe then they’ll send it? I’m liking 22 mpg out of my 3.0 w/37’s. I can’t imagine going down to 10-12 with these 392.
I can’t complain about my 3.0, I saw 24 mpg on my trip from Albany NY to Tampa Fl, average around 20 all together, parts of I95 I maxed out at 97 for a couple minutes. Been down in Fl for the week my dash is showing 22.
I’m tempted by the 392 if it ever comes to the JT, not so much the premium...
