Bummer. I like 'nas4a' solution, check those cold solder joints. I bet that is what was wrong with my first one replaced under warranty. You see that is a whole lot of electrics from 'chiner'. Hope it is under warranty, if not get some flux & heat those solder joints. Good luck!

Hmmm Guess i'll look for the '6 quart capacity oil pan off an older Pentastar and swap it out. If the bolt holes still line up. Oil is good to help with cooling, 6 is better. Its why you use the Motorcraft FL1a filter on the 4.0.
