I just installed one for my wife and did the exact same thing. I'm curious if you plugged the factory hole in the control box and if you did, what you used? Thanks
They didn't offer to ride with me, but I suppose I could push the issue. I figured at the point I disassembled the door for the proximity lock I would own the rattle. I figure at this point they would just say I caused it.
Thanks, I'll check it, but I don't think that's it.
I took the door apart a few weeks ago to install a proximity lock. I assumed I could find the source of the rattle at that time. I thought it was something in the outer panel, so I left that off but I could still hear the noise while driving...
Just did this yesterday, but realized I didnāt do the CSM. I assume that just adds the option to the radio to disable proximity? It seems to work fine, so Iām wondering if its with the trouble fighting with the sgw cables to add the programming? Thx
Anyone else experienced this? It seems to be coming from right around the door handle. I've had it in to the dealer twice and they keep telling me they don't hear it. It's quite pronounced at times. I'll probably end up just taking off the door panel and looking for it myself, but knowing my...
IMO, no. Iām of the opinion there is some sort of compatibility problem with the cp4 and the 6.7 Cummins.
I know Iāve read the pump is over-driven with the 6.7 Cummins. I donāt know how true that is.
Iām still fairly new to the eco, but I havenāt heard of any cp4 failures.
IMO, 95% of the blame on the biker. Yes, it wasn't the best timing for the JT driver to make a u-turn; but with traffic these days sometimes you just have to force your way in to get anywhere. The biker had plenty of time to stop, and should have done just that and waited for the JT to complete...
Spot on. My wife loves her 4XE and I love the eco. She uses hers for short trips and daily errands and I use the eco for a 90 mile round trip commute. The 4XE is a lot of fun to drive with all the torque and hp. I never dreamed I would own a 2.0 liter Jeep with more Torque and hp than my ls1...
Love my diesel. I'm averaging about 24mpg on a mostly stock JTRD driving speed limit 80/20 hwy/ city. I was hoping for a little better mpg, but it's in the ballpark. I've owned a couple of Jeeps with the 3.6 and I'm just not a fan of that motor. The diesel makes the whole driving experience so...
My thoughts exactly, but I have about 8.5k miles on mine.
My only complaint is the bottoming out issue. I drive a lot of rough dirt / gravel roads and I have this problem quite frequently. Iām planning to do a lift soon, and hope it will fix the problem.
