IMO you have a very expensive set up with those fox bypass on a Mohave. Run a set of 285 75 17 toyos and be happy. They are 34ā and about 7 pounds lighter than the 35ās and you never know the difference. Maybe a small Level spacer kit. Done.
Maybe Iām weird but Iād prefer to just hit the button. Being able to see that the auto stop, start is āreadyā based on the dash read out tells me at least the battery is good.
Just recently I noticed the start stop indicator was always in ānot readyā mode. I figured cool but something was...
Mine had a deep hum. It turned out it was the geared collar in the front axle disconnect ( FAD) that bridges the 2 right axle shafts together. Doesnāt matter if itās in 2wd or 4. Dealer said the collar gear was machined too small on some JTs and it would begin to wobble in the housing. It...
LOL The French Stellantis CEO is too busy making electric cars their future and thinking offshore windmills will power it all. He probably despises the whole ICE wrangler JT setup and off-roading
The jeep died with the JK. With the new death wobble Iām sure IFS is near which it might as well...
They are overstocked at AZ dealers. They wouldnāt even give me 47k for mine in a trade back to a JKU. Itās same as new, 13k miles and about 68k into it retail, still under bumper to bumper warranty.
Id say 6 months ago I might have gotten near $60K now Iād be lucky to get $52k selling it...
Iād never buy a mopar warranty. All manufacturers sell them for any Other make. Toyota has the best and itās substantially cheaper and comes with free towing and $100 a night hotel if 150 miles away. I got my Sadinator at a Jeep dealer that owns a Toyota dealer thatās how I stumbled onto the...
Iāll just add my problem/solution for the database here.
I noticed mine hadnāt been working for about a month. The dash just said ānot readyā. It said nothing about charging no other comments except the usual if your tires are turned it wonāt be ready or the truck is warming up. I did notice...
Friend picked up a take off with the needed ancillary parts, but hereās the question.
Do the back of the fog lights stay exposed or is there a plate or something covering up the back like the plastic bumper?
Thanks.
My Gladiator will text me if it needs something. The other day I aired down and I got an alert text telling me to take it to the dealer for tire inflation service.
Who comes up with this crap? LOL amazing my old CJ-5 survived without a cape crusader as co-pilot.
Yeah maybe. Itās a prototype so weāll see. I figured worse case it may bend only if I really hit in the right place and then only until it got support from the rear hitch bracket vs being too short and wading up behind it. I doubt Iāll ever hit much past 3-4ā.
I didnt see anything that fit what I wanted which was a short close tolerance skid that covered the chain ears and went back past the receiver rear bracket. I figured if it hangs down below the hitch too much or protrudes off the back then its adding to departure angle problem.
I just measured...
The service writer said an axle bushing but the tech notes say an axle shaft. Who knows, all roads lead back to the POS FAD axle system with the JL and JT. I hope everyone likes the extra 1/5 mile to the gallon for the complexity and issues this crap has presented.
I'll know more when I pick it...
2021 3,000 miles and just had it go while on a remote trip to Utah. Only Mods are a Mopar 2 lift and 34's.
In our case it was actually hard to tell what it was, as the sound is misleading. We were on the highway doing 65 mph (of course in the middle of no where) and all of a sudden a huge...
I think it so cool after dropping $60,000 on a Rubicon JT that Jeep leaves it to owners to add oil pan and transmission protection.
I going to get them right after I buy the $600 Mopar carpet placemats Im supposed to glue to the inside of the roof.
LOL You saved me some typing. Iāve tow lots of stuff and wouldnāt ever think of towing much more than a quad/jet ski trailer behind my JT.
Tundra and call it a day.
