Got the 2.5” AEV Dual Sport suspension and geometry correction brackets installed. New shoes are 285/75R18 Toyo Open Country Trail R/Ts on 18x9 Black Rhino Chambers with a -12mm offset. After all the questions and advice from others, it’s where I want it…finally.
I appreciate the pics. Great work. I’m looking at the BDS or JKS setups. I don’t have question per say, it’s more just feedback. I guess my best course of action maybe starting a thread asking for precisely that. Thank you tough.
I’m looking at the same one, maybe even the four spring option. Hopefully someone with knowledge will chime. I really like this offering especially with the manual disconnect sway bar links.
Your the second person I have seen do the route. I was really hoping to avoid it by trying to go up a bit and through the grille. I really was leary about manipulating the winch housing, but it may be necessary from the looks of it. Thanks again. You've given me a lot of info and I appreciate it.
Sorry, another question came to mind. Since you did a a RR bumper (different than mine, yes) was there an issue with the harness off the winch, being impeded by the grille? I saw an install with my exact bumper, and it was extremely tight. Also, sorry your bumper is like that. It sucks to pay...
I finally put the rear bumper on, a Rugged Ridge. I may be the first person to do the rear before the front, but it’s what time allowed. I’m almost ready for the front bumper and winch.
Nice setup. I’m about to put on a front bumper and the Apex winch. How do you feel the rake changed with the winch and bumper swap, and do you think the a high front lift would provide any advantages? Also, is there anything you would do differently, ie suspension or brakes with that added...
How would you describe the difference in sound level with the top open versus the Freedom Panels removed? Also, do you park your vehicle indoors? I do not have a garage; I wonder how the top holds up and if there are any leaking issues from being open to the elements continually. Thank you in...
They put out a Super Coupon today, and there is not an Apex products restriction. I was able to buy the $599 version for $479. If you can splurge, I say got for it.
