I just installed the oracle led headlights and I know they will work fine without adjusting the settings on the taser. However, is there any benefit to setting the taser to led for headlights?
Bonus points if you know the bulb for the drl in the rubicon fender also. That ugly...
Yeah for me it’s that range of 40 more miles. That can be big in some trips. I swear I always end up needing to fill up just before I would be getting to the next stop with better gas prices or the place I want to stay at lol.
Update from today. I found the tazer was not keeping my changes after I had set the tires. I also found that my screws were not tightened down on my air filter box. While I doubt the screws had an impact it was something I fixed.

Yeah I’m in the PNW, not nearly as flat lol. I constantly wonder wtf the Jeep is thinking with shifting. I can see 8th when It’s flat unless I get a good headwind or has any incline at all.
yeah it’s also a giant brick in the wind, so I don’t expect a miracle lol. These wheels and tires were on my turbo JL and then I started to get into overlanding with Covid. So now I’m much more future focused on weight where I can.

Thanks, good tips and definitely some that I have been thinking about as I plan out this build in the future. I thought about doing 4.88’s before the 37’s but worried I would end up wishing I did 5.13’s. Never changed gears in any of my prior Jeeps yet. So always learning what I can.
Yeah definitely can be a big difference with weight at the wheel. These are really like 34.3” and 65 lbs since it’s a 315/70/17.
Eventually they will get a tuner for the 21 and I can play around with that. Hopefully the gears help when I eventually go to a 37 or I will be at like 11 mpg...
Yeah I don’t drive in 4h auto, just mentioned it as an option incase that could be part of the lower mpg.
Still on stock 4:10 and checked to make sure the tazer shows that yesterday. Correct tire height is showing also. This tazer has had some issues in the past where I needed to reset it...
No, it just is equipped with 4h auto. I had read that in other Jeep models they had issues with those. So I figured I would mention if others have crap mpg and that option
Just going off using the trip computer since I had the tires adjusted with the taser. I will try manually calculating but based on my range I get it seems like it should be right.
The 13.1 mpg is no tent on and no gear in. So about 4mpg less than you and guessing weight is pretty close with your mods. That’s why it feels like something is off for me.

Pro tip if you are by yourself. Just setup your phone to record and see if your lights are still on :) .mine seemed fine on one reset and then in drive the left one only came on lol.
I 100% wish I was able to get a diesel. I barely average 13 with 35’s and a Roof top tent and I baby the hell out of it. Diesel and I wouldn’t be thinking of needing to regear, way more power and your range is well over 100-200 miles more per tank then I’m getting now.
