I’ve heard a few times that they’re made by dometic and are basically the same model but if you’re getting a good deal on one they’re supposed great. They’re definitely worth it over the $400 ones
So if anyone else is looking to do this and doesn't have rivnuts on hand I managed to do it by putting a little piece of electrical tape on the end of a nut and with a deep set socket I held the nut in place and screwed the bolt in.
I’ve got a wirehaired viszla that sheds so much she has a cloud of loose fur around her when she shakes. To save my car I use some cheap seat covers and a moving blanket back there. That and I vacuum once a week at least.
Tbh with the release of the maverick they should have moved the Ranger back to overseas only and released a bronco pickup here. It could have gotten the off-road price premium and avoided splitting sales with the ranger.
I have a smart liner that I got off Craigslist and love it! The lip is annoying in holding water there but that’s not a giant problem. On the other hand it works well to keep stuff from slipping between the bed and tailgate which is a bigger nuisance to me.
Those are definitely good looking. I'd still rather have it down behind the bumper for added protection of the winch and also to prevent it from fouling airflow to the grill more than necessary.
If you’re spending enough to buy the winch a steel front bumper is probably a better first purchase. It’ll protect that expensive winch better too. There’s a reason you don’t see plastic bumpers with winches but I guess you could theoretically install a winch plate behind the bumper and cut out...
Look this isn't the hill i'm going to die on. I'm just saying most people try to avoid getting pulled over and technically being right doesn't help you when you're running late to an appointment and you now get to spend 30 minutes on the side of the road showing the officer how he's mistaken...
Just to point out even if that makes you compliant in New Jersey, cops might not know that and still hassle you from time to time. Also other drivers are going to be looking at the edge of your vehicle for a turn signal not at where our headlights are since they so far in.

Then look for bull bar light brackets and attach whatever lights you want. There’s so many options from under $100 to $1k+ depending on what you want.
