I went to go buy a filter and noticed they are no longer available. Does anyone have any information on why or if there will be a factory replacement? If not are there any aftermarket filters that wont void the warranty?
This would be a great thing to have, It would also be helpful to know what size socket or wrench goes to those bolts and if there is a torque spec to critical items I think that would be helpful also.
I am in the process of building my tool kit for my JTRD, I am new to Diesel and not sure what...
I have a JTRD and want to build a tool kit for repairs on the road. Wheat do you carry for a basic daily kit and a backcountry kit including fluids etc.?
Is it possible to add another poll to " had stock suspension, jeep wave covered lift kit and bottoming out is fixed". I would like to change my vote and I just posted this on the other thread.
I have an update on my JTRD getting fixed and it is good news!
I just had my suspension swapped for...

I just had my suspension swapped for the 2" lift kit and it was paid for by Jeep Wave. Just before my JTRD was fixed there was another just like it that was fixed and paid for by Jeep. I have a case number you can reference at the...
Just dropped my JTD Gladiator off this morning here in Utah, was told they need it for a few days ?. Wish they told me when I scheduled. I have the 1.5" Teraflex level kit, I anticipate thy will use that and say that's the issue. I made sure to have the technician call me before I come pick it...
I installed this level kit but installed the bump stops, it still hits just like when it was stock. I still have stock tires and wheels. This has me wondering if I should get back in and take them out.
Yes exactly why I am not doing this setup anymore. My sales person told me that the dealers are now scanning the computers and any add on accessories and Jeep is finding reasons to void warranties. He did mention that he didn't think adding an oil cooler would void a warranty.
So I talked to Insane Diesel about adding a oil cooler kit to the oil filtration kit they sell. https://insanediesel.com/collection...gler-3-0l-ecodiesel-bypass-oil-filtration-kit
I was excited for this setup until they told me the filter cap they use for the kit will use the Gen 2 oil...
Yes I agree but eventually all oil will get filtered, and adding a inline cooler to this will help. Unfortunately this is all we have currently and I haven't seen any other ideas yet unless you have a better idea where to tap for oil cooling?
I am still not sure about the horns, do you have a...
As mentioned above the oil filter from Insane Diesel, https://insanediesel.com/collections/bypass-oil-filter-kits/products/jeep-wrangler-3-0l-ecodiesel-bypass-oil-filtration-kit
They are not far from me here in Utah and I am going to work with them on their kit and make some addition's to it. I...
This is the reply that I received from PTP about a turbo blanket. "We don’t have any plans to offer a turbo blanket for this application as we’d need to get a visual inspection of the setup/access to the turbocharger and see how feasible it would be to install a turbo blanket. If you have any...
I would totally purchase something like this! I am sure there would be several others also. Hopefully we can get something made. I bet we can find a place under the bed to tuck it up and out of the way, with a fan mounted to it.
Thanks again for the testing. The wheel wells are a great next step and clearly you are getting to the high temps. That is next on my list as well. My temps are only in the lower 80s so it is harder to get the right time to test. If they work it should be easy to add some clip or screw on...
I did another run today during the hottest part of the day, 102 in Salt Lake City and I headed back up Parleys canyon. This time I pulled the steep grade with the Rubivon vents doing 75mph with AC full blast. I didn't get a load in the bed or haul a trailer like I had hoped. Parleys is a 6%...
