You may want to look into the oil the dealer is using. At my first oil change they told me Shell that’s not approved. We had a big sit down and they had to go pick up the correct oil.

I would zip the lips when talking to the dealer. Sometimes what you say can be used against you for example the heater and not a rock. I would say new windshield has a crack I noticed and please fix it.

Maybe The GPS Store has something. They are big in marine products which has the same needs.

Got it done in a flash. Called Phillips in Ocala yesterday and just got done. Service writer said they just got the recall. I tow a lot so I will probably see a difference because I think the consumption is higher towing.

I can’t find any recall info. Could you post some info please. Sometimes getting things done at a dealer can be challenging. Thanks. I tow a lot and have about 10,000 trouble free miles. I have probably put 7 1/2 gallons of DEF in and showing about 40% full now.

Just under 8000 miles and I tow often. I followed the towing break in 500 miles or what ever it was keeping the seed down. It was a pain taking the time so I just pulled a loaded trailer around town often. It’s a diesel. No leaks.

I hope I never have to go through something like this but if I do I will take the same route calling around. It seems like in todays world there are businesses that can get results and others that are not motivated to help.
