When my diesel Gladiator would sit one day without starting the key fob could not start the engine. Once I got in and started it the fob would work. It would work every morning if I had driven it the day before. I took videos and visited Jeep several times. They said no codes and all fine...
I had mine done yesterday. No notable difference so far. There is a slight diesel smell but I have not seen any signs of leaks. Probably some spillage changing parts. They did leave a new maintenance schedule that said 10,000 mile oil and fuel filter change. That’s the way I understood it along...
You may want to look into the oil the dealer is using. At my first oil change they told me Shell that’s not approved. We had a big sit down and they had to go pick up the correct oil.
Good looking truck. I have a diesel and tow a boat a lot, mostly flat land. You should be able to get the def recall flash by then and I would have some extra def on hand. Towing takes more def I feel. I use either Mopar or I think the upgraded blue. I also use Every Day Diesel treatment. I...
Google gorilla glass defects and there are problems with turning on the heat/defrost. Some results are on this forum. I would also take it to a windshield shop to get a second opinion. I hate having to fight warranty problems.
Without going into a long post I am not a glass expert but do have construction experience with cracked glass. I believe that tempered glass when exposed to extreme hot/cold changes cracks. I have seen this happen. You said there was no one in front when this happened. I think possibly if the...
I would zip the lips when talking to the dealer. Sometimes what you say can be used against you for example the heater and not a rock. I would say new windshield has a crack I noticed and please fix it.
trialless put the name of one app on the first page. I now have a total of 3 apps for Mopar/Jeep and only one mentioned the recall. Can’t remember which one but I think it was the one trailless put up. You can also call the dealer and give your vin#
Got it done in a flash. Called Phillips in Ocala yesterday and just got done. Service writer said they just got the recall. I tow a lot so I will probably see a difference because I think the consumption is higher towing.
I can’t find any recall info. Could you post some info please. Sometimes getting things done at a dealer can be challenging. Thanks. I tow a lot and have about 10,000 trouble free miles. I have probably put 7 1/2 gallons of DEF in and showing about 40% full now.
Just under 8000 miles and I tow often. I followed the towing break in 500 miles or what ever it was keeping the seed down. It was a pain taking the time so I just pulled a loaded trailer around town often. It’s a diesel. No leaks.
I hope I never have to go through something like this but if I do I will take the same route calling around. It seems like in todays world there are businesses that can get results and others that are not motivated to help.
