What is this "MPG" you speak of?? I measure my fuel efficiency in "yards per gallon". As such, I'm averaging 22,880 YPG. That's about the only way I can possibly fool myself into feeling good about my totally stock Mojave getting an average 13 MPG. :headbang:

Generally happy with mine. But like you (and so many others it seems) those plastic corner pieces are the weak link. Mine fall off regularly. Sometime they break. Sure they're quick to send free replacements, but should have just been a better design to start with.

Some folks have had issues with the foam weatherstrip staying stuck to the spray in liner at the bulkhead (even with an adhesive promoter) so they suggest sticking the foam to the underside of the X4S. This is on my “when I get time” list. (which is very, very, long right now 📜😞)

I got the same thingy (the technical term for them) on the straps that shipped to me. I did as the instructions said (attach straps to underside of bolts at bed front) and kept the unused parts to use with eyebolts in the bed cargo rail T-slots as two bonus anchor points.
