Yes the "upgraded" alpine system (which was amazingly bad IMO), for example the system in my 2013 RAM is way, way better than the Jeep system (not anymore though ;( ) Uses factory harness, plugs right into it, so nothing else needed there. You don't need a separate amp or lineout converters...

Its really nice. There's a good beach on Lake Michigan (which is usually a bit cold always), nice sunsets. Lots of sand and hills to explore and run. A bit crowded during Jeep Invasion, I've seen and want to go on "off" weeks, where I've heard there's usually just a handful of people.

I found the ones in the passenger footwell. They are pretty much invisible in the taped bundle going across near where top of the carpet is... you have to get the stick, cheap black electrical tape off to get them.

Looks scary, there's nothing keeping the hooks from sliding off... meaning if it tips they will slide and boom. Simple fix I think, get a couple of bolts/wingnuts/washers and bolt the eye of the hooks to holes in the top (like the J-Barr kit)

No. They come with a Mopar Steering stabilizer stock. If you want a fox one you have to upgrade it yourself (pretty easy to do). I have the FOX ATS and it makes a nice difference on the freeway.
