The sound bar does come down about 3 inches, my son ..... who is 6.... already hit his head on it standing up lol good news is if you just add the 6x9s to the existing sound bar no issue.

At 6'5 that speaker isn't making that much of a difference, you are probably hitting your head on the sound bar already :-)

Can you tell me how you terminated the power and ground for the amps? since there are 2 or 3 with the complete system i am thinking of mounting a small buss bar under the mounting bracket in case i ever have to replace an amp.
