This is exactly what I did for my camping set up. The first two boxes carry all my cutlery and cooking supplies, the smallest carries batteries, head lamps, first aid etc.
You get it. After several deployments as an Infantryman and several years as a ER RN, I can say a TQ is overkill is most instances. I cannot speak for how many times my ER has taken down a TQ to find it was not needed. The supplies one carries should fit two categories, those you will most...
I add this because I've had two pneumothorax, one that progressed to a tension.
I figure what would I want in the event of a rollover and worried about blunt trauma to the chest. Regardless of the law, if someone shows tension pathology, they are getting a needle.
I dont know if I would be giving Hextend, NS is another issue that can be addressed with other interventions. Carrying basic first aid supplies, oral rehydration salts, SAM splints, and cooling supplies will cover most emergencies.
I carry the above mentioned kit but I add a needle...
I drove my 05 TJ for 15 years, it had many trips all over the southeast and southwest. I had a lot of good memories in that jeep, but once I had my son, it started to become a pain. Then my grandpa gave me his '83 El Camino, the wife said I could either keep my grandpa's El Camino or the TJ, I...
I hear you. But, there is still air resistance across the entire frontal area of the trailer, despite the jeep breaking some of the resistance. I've found different information about how to calculate frontal area, so I'm curious as to what is the correct answer.
Anecdotally, I towed an 83 El...
Ive been told its just the frontal areas of the trailer, basically leaving the Gladiator to only tow very small trailers. This is the first time Ive heard of deducting the front of the jeep.
Chapel Hill, NC to Moab, I found the ride just fine. Compared to my 05 TJ, the JT rides like a caddy; the hardtop with homemade headliners helps. On my way, I was able to hit trails in WV, CO, and UT. I have the bestop supertop, at 5' 10'' I was able to sleep sideways in the bed on a sleeping...
Beyond the trails already recommended, I would recommend Chicken Corners. Its not complicated, I ran the entire trail in 2WD except a sandy patch. However, the views are amazing.
