Hello all, I've got a 21 Gladiator sport s 6 speed manual. At about 3k miles I've noticed a rattle when I'm around 3k rpm in second and third gear mostly. Noise is heard from about 3k ROM to 3500-4000 rpm. The rattle sound is like a plastic on metal type rattle or even like a dull heat shield...

That's what mine sounds like, but I checked all the heat Shields. It happens at higher rpm on a flat surface too. So I don't think it's spark knock. Something is loose and only vibrates certain times that can't be consistently replicated and it's driving me nuts. Hopefully you find the fix too.

Are the shocks still available?

Does it almost sound like a plastic on metal rattle sorta metallic but not like rod knock metallic? It sounds like it's under the driver side area.

Any updates? My 2021 sport s mt is doing the same thing with 3k miles.
