Yep you are 100% correct. Drove it off the lot and by the time I got home the roof and doors had flown off and the tailgate wiggled off and smashed the car behind me. I just kept going. :-))
  2. Which look better? Honest opinions

Honestly, the 2nd pic looks better on a blue Rubicon. Red looks like someone color blind would pick.
  3. Couple of questions before I make a buying decision

I have a place up North too. Only for the summer though. I have a Grand Cherokee at my place on the lake in Ohio.
  4. Is it ok to leave the Selec-Trac Full Time 4WD System on?

Huh??? That's the whole point in have 4Auto, so that you don't have to worry about changing gears if the weather suddenly turns. 4Auto means it *automatically* shifts to the proper gear setting depending on conditions. If you do it manually like you state there is no point in having it.
  5. Is selec track (or full time 4WD) inherently bad or weaker?

I have it on my 2021 Mojave and I would strongly recommend it. I had to have it. My wife drives it too so she doesn't need to know anything about the gear box. I haven't had a real need for it yet but can tell you it's great in a driving rain storm and flooded roads. It's not even that...
  6. O

I bought a loaded Mojave in Sept 2021. It's been great. A lot of dough though ($71k including tax). I got the mud tires and at first I didn't like them. Very squirrely on the highway, even city driving. However, after breaking them in for about 1,000 miles they ride great. The Mojave is a beast...
  7. Couple of questions before I make a buying decision

I bought the 2021 Gladiator Mojave. Love it! Highway driving did take me by surprise but you do get used to the light steering. I live in Florida and the Gladiator is the only way to go. One single vehicle - it's a convertible, a beast in poor weather conditions, cool as hell looking and...
  8. Should I trade my Tundra to Gladiator?

Never owned a Tundra but I did have a Ridgeline which is more or less the same size as the Gladiator. You can't beat the ride and fuel economy of the Ridgeline. It has a lot of nice features. I gave it to my son and bought a loaded up 2021 Gladiator Mojave. Man do I love it! It does not handle...
  9. Update: (Trigger has been pulled on) About to pull the trigger on a Mojave, a few questions please.

I bought a new Gladiator Mojave a few weeks ago. Got it pretty much loaded up. I got it with the upgraded mud tires. If you don't plan on off roading much go with the standard tires. It's taken 500 miles for the tires to break in. Highway driving was pretty lousy. I needed to be very aware of...
  10. Suntop Soft Top

This is the MOST interesting thread. I really like the look and I've been looking and searching and googling for something like this. Hard to believe it's that affordable. I am staying in tune for this one.
  11. Heads Up Display (Ali Express)

Meh .... not the same as factory. Actually not even close. But I guess better than nothing if its something one thinks is necessary (I'm not one of them).
  12. Tube Doors

Those are great looking! They look really good with the black clear coat paint. One question: does it come with the nets or is that an option? Thx
  13. Tube Doors

Damn those are nice! Love the star. Sorry if you already posted it but where did you buy these? Thx!
  14. Arizona OEM Mopar front steel bumper with extras

That's one cool truck. Love the color. Wish you were in Florida. I would buy the bumper.
  15. NACHO Gladiator club

Always wait till the end of the month. These dealership get special incentives/bonuses each month from Jeep depending on sales. I bought a Nacho Mojave Gladiator pretty loaded up ($67k) and got $2,500 off. Not great but not bad considering most dealerships are not negotiating due to low...
