I went with the XL. I didn't leave the tent up for more than a week at a time so preferred having it be most functional for camping over looking just right. Also full disclosure I sold my gladiator and got a bronco so I’m all over the place.
Hey how did this turn out? Any pictures of the half-rack with the annex? I am trying to decide between the regular and XL. Also any details on the hardware mod? I have an ace upper decker so likely the same mounting problem.
Is this the 72 or the 87? I have a half-rack (ace upper decker) so the tent will have to fit above the bed, behind the top. I am wondering what the largest I can go without extending beyond the tailgate is.
Hey that's awesome! I am definitely down to go like 45 mins round trip but not drive 2 hrs (Waldorf). I will be at Andrews AFB tomm around 1000, or I can do Oxon Hill (National Harbor) another day (or the weekend). Let me know if that works for you.
I have the 2" MOPAR. I am looking at getting the Air Lift 1000 to fix it since it is $100 and easy, would you recommend a new larger spring instead? And nice camper BTW!
Can I ask what your lift set up is? It looks like the 2" Mopar but no sag in the back with all that weight? I am trying to fix mine as I just added a rack and I am no longer even.
Quick question, and thanks for that video! Did you do anything to your rear shocks after you added the rack and RTT? I did the same MOPAR lift and daystar spacers but after installing an ACE Upper Decker I am about an inch lower in the rear now and expect a RTT to make it worse. Option 1 is...
Yes it's the steel bumper group springs and I have a full hardtop. The guy who bought my wheels/tires needed to know that for some reason I can't recall and they were the "good" springs.
Has anyone on here tried to use the rubicon takeoff suspension to build or upgrade a trailer? I searched the forums but didn't see anything. I have looked at some gov surplus trailers and wondered if you could easily mod them.
