Today I installed an Alien sunshade to my pickup. It fit well, the bungies are really tight. Hopefully I can leave it inplace when I reinstall the Freedom Panels.
Good stuff here everybody, damn cool upgrades shown here. Mine is not overly cool...the cool stuff goes on the trail Jeep!
On Monday I made an appointment with my local dealer to investigate my front axle noise. What began as a sound typical to faint brake pad drag on a wheel rotor, rapidly turned into the wheel rumble described in this forum thread. The sound and behavior are typical to those noted in the above...
Very cool post. I am always thrilled to meet a Jeep owner with a new rig and strong ties to the old heritage.
The orange TJ was my daily driver of eight years until my '21 Gladiator (Willys, Ecodiesel), came home the first of this year. The TJ is stretched 15" rides on 37" tires. It's now...
What a beautiful truck and amazing build. Made for great lunchbreak reading! The build reminds me of why I have loved Jeeps for 40 years, so much can be done, lots of ways of doing things and just damn cool! Thanks for sharing all your hard work here!
Well, it wasn't real deep but it was my Gladiator's first taste of snow! Also, a good beginning to breaking-in the bushing on the transfer case lever. The diesel does very well, I really enjoy it.
Partially, I just like the sound they make! I prefer the benefits of a heavy duty transmission. A diesels ability to do efficient work has always impressed me. Hopefully I enjoy the 3.0 as much or more than all the Jeep 4.0 (4.2 and 4.6), in-line sixes.
This is not a fuel mileage question...but to see what others have made note of regarding the trip computer fuel mileage versus hand, calculated mileage.
I have had my Ecodiesel less than one week and have not filled up since the dealership. I will be checking the mileage myself. My...
Here is my '21 Willys Ecodiesel. I picked it up last evening (Jan. 6th). It is the first new Jeep I have had and gives my '98 TJ6 a break from daily driving duty and lets it be a trail rig (stretched 15", fits a TJ Unlimited soft top). The Willys is well outfitted, though it does not have the...
After having nearly ten Jeeps in my 30 years of Jeeping, I finally got a brand new one. Fresh off the truck in this shot, only the antenna was put on. Pick up is in two days and I will likely loose sleep until then. Willys, Ecodiesel in Sting-gray. As I have a trail Jeep, this one may remain...
I know, not a Gladiator. Working towards having one after the first of the New Year. Cascade Mountains on 12/11/21, not much snow just yet...but increasing. 1998 TJ6 on 37's, D44's, 5.13 gears, stroker 4.6.
Our cruising Jeep is a bone stock '75 CJ6. My current daily is a 15" stretched TJ (TJ6). Hoping to get a Gladiator first of the year and relegate the TJ to 'Trail Jeep'.
This thread has made for interesting reading as I am in the market for a Gladiator, Ecodiesel...I think!
Several of the higher-end JT's I have looked at seem awfully expensive. If a dealer can get it, then more power to them, for myself, I am patient. Western WA has very few Gladiators on...
