I went from a 2016 F-150 Platinum to a 2021 JT Mojave and could not be happier. There are very few times that I miss the space of the full size truck, and the JT is way more fun to drive. It also fits better in my garage and way easier to park.
If you need the space of the full size truck...
Even with no load, these Gladiators steer and brake WAAAAAY worse than most cars. On the other side of the scale, there are plenty of box trucks and other vehicles that drive WAAAAY worse than a fully loaded Gladiator. These Jeeps will never be sports cars, and box trucks will never be Jeeps. It...
I don't really see how running 37's is much different on a drivetrain than towing a light load. I am running 37" KO2s on stock 4.10s (automatic trans), and it feels basically stock to me. I am not an aggressive driver, and generally accelerate and brake moderately.
There are plenty of jeeps...
I have 37 KO2s on AEV Borahs on stock 4.10s and I think it feels fine. It's not winning any races, but it doesn't need to. I think the power reduction from stock tires seems negligible. I am running a 2" lift.
Has anyone tried applying some silicon lube to where the springs contact the spacers to see if it helps?
For the record, I have about 500 miles on my lift, and am not getting any squeaks.
So, I have a Tazer installed and have it set to DRL Drop = OFF . However, now my DRL alternates between amber and white. I thought the point was that the white would stay on the whole time, and just the amber would flash? Is anyone else having the same issue?
I have a set of Mojave takeoffs. It is 4 wheels and tires (mounted and balanced) PLUS one unmounted tire that came off my spare. The unmounted tire has zero miles on it. The other four have 490 miles on them. NO TPMS.
These are the matte black wheels with 33" Falken M/Ts. These came off my...
I went with AEV wheels in a 17x8.5 size. The AEV wheels have a Gladiator specific +25 offset, which makes the wheels fit perfectly without any tire poking out of the fenders.
I just came from DD'ing an F-150 for the past 5 years to the gladiator. I also drove a Raptor prior to pulling the trigger on the Gladiator.
For me, the Raptors and TRX are just too damn big. If you live in an area where you ever have to go into a parking garage or even tight outdoor parking...
Installed my AEV spacer lift and geometry brackets on my Mojave. Took waaay longer than I planned for. However, now that it’s on,it rides great. Feels like stock, just with added height.
Great product, but definitely a pain to install.
I am coming from a 2016 F-150 with the 3.5L EcoBoost (385HP 420Tq). The Pentastar feels way underpowered to me. I like driving my Gladiator a lot more, but I do miss the power of the EcoBoost engine.
I have a set of Onyx Borahs on the the way. I'd like to get some black lugnuts for them, rather than the chrome factory ones. What ones do you guys recommend?
