Update - there does appear to be a new version of the installer software. I downloaded that and it seems to have corrected the issue and I can install now. For archive - if anyone gets the Checking for Update 100% message and it gets stuck, install the latest Program Utility and it should work.

I added THESE tied into the existing bed light wiring. I had to upgrade the tape to 3M tape but I stuck them under the rails of my BAK X4S tonneau. They're plenty bright to light up the bed. Doesn't solve your switching issue, but just wanted to recommend the lights. Cheap too.

Yep. Winter blend kills my mileage here in NJ. At least on my gas car (Volvo). I go from 24 down to ~20 in the Winter. My Gladiator is a diesel - I haven't really noticed much of a difference there, but I do run an anti-gel that adds a little to my cost.
