The glady will never get a 5.7 from factory let alone a 392. If jeep offered a 5.7 in the gladiator it would take away sales from the ram 1500 and thatās the poster child for dodge. Kinda like robbing Peter to pay Paul it just doesnāt make sense. As for the 392 it wouldnāt be able to tow shit...
The RR back seat is way too small for me to even consider it. With a kid in the future and a dog as my camping buddy I just cannot see myself ever owning one. The power/torque numbers are amazing but I would never subject a friend or relative to sit in the back of one. I also hate Ford products...
Given your unique position with Stellantis Iām curious if youāve heard anything about the alleged development of a 5.2L V8?
the article I read a couple months ago said it was going to be engineered for the new ram/dodge products in 2028 and up. Supposedly itās a high output smaller v8 that...
Highly recommend a 4 link rear conversion for anyone asking about lift advice. I matched RockKrawlers 4 link with my MC kit and I absolutely love the drive onroad and offroad.
the Mojave package is awsome, shocks are amazing and hydro bumpstops in the front are great. I have two friends with raptors 1st and second gen that both thought I overpaid for a jeep with raptor qualityās when I couldāve just got a raptor for the same price. They quickly ate their words when we...
They marketed the Mojave to tow small trailers off-road and jump, hence the beefed up knuckles and frame reinforcement. Mojaveās used to have better seats than the other trims but that has changed now. If I were the OP and doing a lot of solo camping/hunting Iād go with the Rubi so I had the...
Do the RK 4 link conversion, you will love the way it flexes and rides off/on road. I did MC arms all around with the 4 link conversion on the rear from RK. Went with synergy springs and added 2 inch shock extensions to my fox 2.5s. Absolutely the best jeep ride Iāve ever been in.
I believe different front end on the scrambler is going to help keep the v8 within government spec range. I doubt the scrambler will be speced to tow more than 5k so that might be a reason as well.
Big tires and small engines = terrible MPG. However the 5.7 with big tires also = terrible MPGā¦.if Iām gana have terrible MPG give me the roar of the v8 over any small block+turboā¦.
I ended up doing a decent sanding job over the entire thing and re coated with black rattle can . You are correct it was just surface corrosion. I did it last year and everything looks good to this day. When I bought it I was getting info on another thread here and a previous buyer advised that...
If you get the Amazon one paint it before you put it on. I went with the Amazon one a couple years ago and the finish coat isnāt terrible but after a year on I took it off and did a new coat of black. A lot of the corners were getting surface rust.
