  1. Coverking headliner installed with sound deadening material. Lowered sound decibels in cabin significantly

Ive also done this mod w/great results. The CoverKing top is very nice, but not crazy about the double sided tape. In some areas I used 3M spray adhesive. I used some sound deadener off Amazon. I like that it darkens the inside too.
  2. HikeIt throttle controller

I installed this about a month ago. I went w/this vs. others due to price & size of the unit. It's made a huge difference in enjoying my Gladiator. Now I know that there's somethin under the hood! HikeIt had great communication & shipped/received it fast, & good directions. It's kinda tough...
  3. New phone mount

I picked up a cheap phone mount to try out, that kept the phone up & outta the way. Got it off eBay for about $25 bucks, all aluminum, comes w/new bolt to mount, but no instructions. Pretty simple to figure out, & took all of 10 mins to install. Ive got a Note 20 ultra that's pretty big. In the...
  4. Pedal commander

I agree w/ospreyfe55, what a difference. Mines a 21 gasser auto. I've got it on sport/tow 3, & I'm impressed. I like the fact that it feels like there's something actually under my hood now! Acceleration w/my 35" mudders is effortless now. It says in the manual that you can unplug the head unit...
  5. Hardtop Headliner Opinions Needed

Yes you're correct. I saw that when I switched to the soft top. No biggie though, I use the ap on my phone for work too.
  6. The Definitive Front Bumper Thread

So, a little over a month ago, I hit a deer. I saw em just in time & turned left, mowing em under the passenger side. Got a slight bend in the front bumper, some fur, & spatter. Other than that, amazingly there was no other damage. Just ran over 'em & torn 'em open from the frame horns hangin...
  7. Hardtop Headliner Opinions Needed

I also got the Cover King Headliner. Quadratech had a flash sale & couldn't pass it up. Added some sound deadener too. Its much quieter & cooler! The 3M strips that came w/it weren't that great. I got a can of 3M HD spray adhesive/glue from Home Depot. My soft top that I used this past summer...
  8. Stupid Damn WeatherTech

I was bummed reading the issues w/in channel vent shades on the Gladiator. On previous trucks I always used them. I too didnt want to waste a 100 bucks. So this time I went w/stick ons. I like the matte black finish. Got 'em from Extreme.
  9. RC 2.5 inch install help

Mine unbolted pretty easily. Your just taking the 4 bolts off to disconnect it, right? If you cant get the axle to lower enough because of short stands, use a bottle jack to jack one side up, to lower the other side more. You could get a set of cheap spring compressors too from Harbor Freight...
  10. The Most Effective Steering Wander Fix Cost Me $0 (Updated 1-7-23)

This a response to HOLES question about 35's w/a RC 3.5 spring lift. That's what I'm runnin & am pretty happy w/it. It's tall enough for me, doesn't look like everyone else on the road. I've yet to put on my front lower control arm brackets, but hopefully soon. Been waiting for some dry sunny...
  11. Carrier bearing spacer for rear driveshaft

I added the Rock Jock on mine also. Like you, I figured it cheap insurance, 35 buck. I'm running a RC 3.5" lift.
  12. ROCK JOCK carrier bearing drop kit

I put this in another area, but it should be here. Quick & easy install, for better driveshaft alignment. I don't have adjustable control arms, maybe later on.
  13. 2.5 level kit or 3.5 lift kit

So I'll bet the 1st in re-guards to tampahoosier, I'm good w/my RC 3.5 coil lift. I also added 3/4" spacer in rear, front lower control arm brackets, dual steering stabilizer kit, Johnny Joint adjustable track bars, Rock Jock carrier bearing drop kit. Rides great, handles great. Works great for...
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I added the Rock Jock carrier bearing drop spacer. I've got 3.5" coil lift & 3/4" spacer out back. Sorry no b4 pics, it did have quite an upward tilt. For only $30 bucks & 1/2 hr, I feel better & so does the driveshaft.
  15. Mt's in the snow

I've been really surprised/pleased with the M/T's that I purchased. Maxxis Buckshot Mudder 2, 35x12.50-17. Like any tire in the snow, you can spin em if you want, but they grab & go good. I;ve had other muds on Wranglers that weren't worth much. A lot has to do with the longer wheel base &...
  16. Which lift kit? SJ or RC?

I agree with what others have already stated, get what you need for your intended purpose. And the snobs out there. Its firmer than stock Willys, which I hoped for! I dont rock crawl, I just light off road. I dont like stock, on anything! I like to personalize my stuff, this kit works great for...
  17. New York Superchips Flashcal

No sorry it isn't. I know shipping is high, & I didn't mention that, so I'll make up the difference. I'd like an extra $10 to go into shipping cost. Thanks for the interest.
  18. New York Superchips Flashcal

Ive got a Flashcal that Im looking to sell for $150. Used it to set speedo for bigger tires. No longer need it. Comes w/all instructions/parts. Shipping will be USPS.
  19. Which lift kit? SJ or RC?

I've had my 21 Willys w/a RC 3.5 coil kit on for a 1000 miles now. Ive got the cheaper N3 shocks too. Been happy w/the ride & all. It sits level, but sometimes looks like the rear is a little lower. The rear springs are soft, so I ordered a set of 3/4" spacers, but haven't gotten em in yet. I...
