Mine unbolted pretty easily. Your just taking the 4 bolts off to disconnect it, right? If you cant get the axle to lower enough because of short stands, use a bottle jack to jack one side up, to lower the other side more. You could get a set of cheap spring compressors too from Harbor Freight...

I added the Rock Jock on mine also. Like you, I figured it cheap insurance, 35 buck. I'm running a RC 3.5" lift.

I put this in another area, but it should be here. Quick & easy install, for better driveshaft alignment. I don't have adjustable control arms, maybe later on.

I added the Rock Jock carrier bearing drop spacer. I've got 3.5" coil lift & 3/4" spacer out back. Sorry no b4 pics, it did have quite an upward tilt. For only $30 bucks & 1/2 hr, I feel better & so does the driveshaft.
