I just installed a set of Oracle LED conversion headlight bulbs and there are a couple of things i do not understand.
There seems to be an adjustment for left-hand drive autos and right-hand drive.
And also the 9 and 3 position; after replacement the bulb itself seems to be in a 10 and 2...
i was thinking about the synergy coils. I even sent them a message because i saw that they had a closed bottom end to the coils and i know the Gladiator has a stop to hold the open end of the OEM coil. They replied the next day showing me an adapter plate.
The only extra weight i carry on the...
I also bought the Defender 7'2". I was worried about the front end drop when the plow was raised, but the front end only drops about 1.5 inches with the OEM front coils.
Thanks! I try to use the mileage indicator when i drive; i got similar milage commuting 42 miles one way to work when my car was laid up. I think she likes 60-65 more than 55-60
I bought the Off Road Concepts 4-door hanger. Space is tight in my garage, so this worked out well for me. I removed the top and doors the first week of June, and just put them back on yesterday. It was a good summer!
Yes, the mount does go on the outside of the frame, and yes, you will need the 7'2" plow. That's where Meyers messed up. Meyers was set to go with the 6'8" plow, but realized that would underplow the width of the tires. Then Meyers was not able to make a 7'2" plow that would pass a crash test...
I have the 7'2" Defender and this is the passenger's side view. 3 bolts attach to the frame. They had to drill into the frame, but i do not know for which bolts. The mount is cut around the bolt in the upper right. It is different from my older plow, but i am happy with it. With the receivers...
Another full load!
I did get the spray on liner from Jeep, which seemed extremely rugged, but after my first load of mulch, i was afraid id chip the liner on the wheel wells with the shovel. i did not want a preformed liner, i was looking for something that was easy to remove after i emptied the...
i was waiting for a 2 door, extra cab, 6' bed Gladiator, but when the frame rusted out on my '97 TJ, i bought the 4 door. Now with my grandson, i'm happy with the 4 door.
I luv the look of the 2 door!
I would have to agree with Cowboy, i dont think i could put a receiver type plow on my Gladiator. And my wife tells me you get what you pay for. i dont think you need anything bigger than the Defender 7'2" plow and maybe take a look at the Timbren active off-road bumpstop
