Dealer came through and was great. Said they found the start to a rear axle leak in the process but I'm sure they must have just hit the seal during installation and therefore had to replace that on them (or under warranty) because I never saw anything on my garage floor. But they only had it...
So I'm really diggin these K02s and I'm currently running 37x12.5r17 in load range C for a nice tuck. But after a recent 2" AEV spacer lift the tuck got a little better which leaves me with some room to go out a bit. In looking at these pictures of all of yours I'm thinking that I could actually...
UPDATE:
Installed AEV 2” spacer with geometry correction brackets and Apex autoLynx. Gained the wheel gap back for more travel and tucked the tires in a tad more perfectly. This setup is rockin.
Fixed mine after watching Northridge4x4 install video. I’m a dumbass and didn’t back the collar nut up to the top snap ring. Just buttoned it all back up and took it for a spin and all good to go. I wish you success on yours!
Any update here? Just installed these and AEV spacer lift a few days ago and yesterday was my torque day. So today was my inaugural first ride and I have heard popping as described while turning in parking lots or slow speed turns. I thought maybe the spacer wasn’t seated properly but after...
You’ll be happy with these. Even the manual wasn’t terrible in comparison to stock I felt like there was no difference. I just speak from even the manual in stock form could use regearing. So take this information knowing that I felt no difference going from stock 33s to the 37s with my Method...
I just finished regearing to 4.88s but not because of this setup. I have a manual transmission and feel the 3.6l is grossly underpowered even in stock form paired with the 6spd, so it was always a plan for me to regear. Manual should come with 4.56 from factory in my opinion. But now with the...
Auto or manual? I have a manual and was planning to run 4.88s. Been running 37 KO2s for a year now. Well I swap to studded 35s in the winter. But 37s for 7 months out of the year.
Update to my own post which hopefully helps others…
I contacted New England Offroad Company in Portland, Maine to inquire if they serviced re-gearings and they told me that they do not, but when they have gears they need to have done they use their local dealership. So I contacted my home...
NE groups on any Jeep forum have historically been dead on arrival. Pretty shitty really as there are some good trails around that can be had or just good overland roads up in the northern parts.
Maine here, if anyone is up in these parts and wants a wing night or to hit up a trail.
