That LS swap is really nice! Do you have a right up somewhere for it? Been kicking around doing this to my XJ.
And....I hate all of you! My wife said: "Jeeps or cars, not both!" (mostly because we have no where to park what we have.)
No trails in Silverton or Ouray will be open in March. Even with a light snow year they don't open until the end of May, and usually not until the middle of June.
Fins southside, there is one place you will probably drag the hitch/bumper
Hell's Revenge will be the same but there is no way to bail off the trail like on Fins.
Onion is a scenic drive
Seven Mile Rim can be done stock as well.
Long Canyon is easy and scenic
Dome Plateau is easy
Chicken Corners...

-Dana Spicer Advantek axle shafts with 1410 u-joints (their site says 1350 but they are 1410)
FAD is still working just fine - there is a plastic instert in the inner-inner shaft that has to be removed so the larger machined nipple on the new shaft will slide in...
I have had one in the front axle of my Cherokee for 18 years. Works great. It is picky about the oil not being old and thin, and don't use synthetic per Eaton.
