This is the setup I'm using:
Maximus-3 "JL/JT DUALLY AUXILIARY LIGHT BRACKET Model JL1007AB" and the KC Flex-era 4 lights. This keeps them pretty low, but I have had some issues with heat while towing my camper on the highway.
Mine showed up today and looking fwd to installing them tomorrow. They def have a lot of heft to them... Bestop must have cleared a few warehouse slots with this sale eh?
Regret: DV8 Offroad Rock Slider steps. These things might be fine in the South, but up North they are not ready for the salt and got rusty a few months after I installed them. They also fill with mud and have no way to clean them out unless you have a u shaped sprayer.
Sorry I uninstalled them (and the sunrider) for the winter months we are blessed with in Michigan :D. BTW: I've been using these security bolts on the bar's threaded ends: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09B2HFQ31/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The flexera4 lights are amazing, I would say they cover 99% of what I need. The KC Pro 6 is pretty fun thou and I think it looks really good on the Gladiator. It's not nearly as loud as I thought it would be an no whistling etc but I do get some buffeting on the highway with the sunrider top.
Yeah I'm running the teraflex split six wheels this season. With the rings installed they create a bit of a pocket between the wheel and the ring where I get clay/mud collecting. Not usually a huge deal, but throws off the balance if you have to drive back home on the highway after a fun day...
I've tried to order split spokes from two different vendors and both have gone to backorder with shipping dates 6 mounts out :(. Is that really how long these will take? I already got my bash rings..
