It does seem odd, definitely possible that there's something else at play. But fuse F111 was the same one that was loose last time as well, and there was a definite "click" when I pushed it down this time too. I'll keep an eye out and if/when this happens again I'll give F111 another push and...
2022 Gladiator Willys Sport w/ manual transmission, locks, windows.
Had an issue with the basic gauge cluster not turning off after shutting down vehicle several months ago. I tried multiple fixes to include deleting the aux battery and installing a brand new battery, ensuring fuses seated, and...
 my first thought too!
I've got one of their OG phone mounts in my JK. The original plastic phone clamp broke a few years ago so I contacted them and they sent an updated aluminum replacement at a steep discount.
Bulletpoint mounting offers similar products if that is an option for you?
I just replaced my main battery (2022 gladiator) and disabled the auxiliary a month or so ago. Yours being a 2021 I'd imagine the batteries are on their last leg anyway.
If you aren't auto/electrically savvy and have no desire to learn then I'd recommend finding a reputable shop in your area...
$10 wix filter + $27 Mobil1 full synthetic = ~$40 and 20 - 30 minutes of my time. It's worth the peace of mind to know it was done correctly for me. I realize the diesel is more $$ per change, but agreed with the above poster. DIY and give the underside a good inspection each time.
Not entirely apples to apples, but I paid ~37k for my Willys Sport back in 2022 (~42k OTD) with a few add ons. The Willys Sport trim is no longer an option for 2025/2026, but a comparable base sport MSRP is ~45k now, so a significant increase.
FWIW I placed my custom order through Gupton...
UPDATE: Issue is fixed! Once I replaced the battery and disconnected/isolated the aux battery I found the dash stayed lit. I was worried there was a deeper computer issue from the codes I pulled (see images) along with some "module no response" from the TCM and one other module. That lead me to...
Well this stinks. New battery is in and the dash cluster screen still stays lit. AUX battery isolated at the main and fuse F42 pulled. No issues at all on startup. No crazy Christmas tree lights. I did pull codes from my Tazer and got these yesterday..
I re-booted the taser just to be sure and no change either. New battery is getting topped off and will go in soon along with the auxiliary battery delete..we shall see. Thanks yall.
I feel like this has happened to me once before but it hasn't been this persistent. 2022 Gladiator with ~20k miles, original batteries. I drove from Colorado to Texas a few days ago drove around Houston a bit. Yesterday morning I went out to the truck and noticed the center dash screen and...
What part of Colorado are you in? I live in Colorado Springs and am out of town until after Christmas, but if the distance is reasonable I wouldn't mind coming to lend a hand.
Not exactly apples to oranges, but I replaced the oil cooler on my 2015 JK with the 3.6 around 105k miles. I'd changed my own oil every 5k miles since I bought it with 13k on the odometer. I don't recall seeing exactly where the failure point was though. I gave it a look-over after removing it...
2022 manual JT here as well. I’ve got 18,xxx miles on mine and it has done this for me from day 1. Only in 2nd or 3rd gear when under a decent load (like going up a hill) and it goes away when I put the slightest pressure on the clutch pedal-comes back if I release. Doesn’t cause me any issues...
I recently picked up a clean 2001 TJ with the idea of swapping in a 360 once the 4.0 bites the dust. The older magnum engines don't get the best mileage, nor do they make the best power, but coupled with a NV4500 and some exhaust work like in my 94 Dodge 2500 they are fun to toot around in and...
2022 manual here as well and I have heard this noise a handful of times under similar circumstances (2/3 gears usually up a hill under load around 3k rpm). I have a slight exhaust modification so I thought it could be some type of resonance related noise. Will try to play with clutch next time I...
Not the best photo but I’m happy with my decision to put a toolbox in the bed. It does take up a bit of the usable space, but for anything that really requires a bed I have another truck.
Box in question is a CamLocker brand made specifically for the gladiator. Fits like a glove.
Curious about the baxter oil adapter. Looks like it allows you to use a different (standard) strike oil filter. Does the bottom adapter prevent having to torque to a certain spec each time and thus possibly prevent the cracking issue?
