Lengthwise it is slightly shorter. Definitely thinner. Lighter? Not that what really matters. The one I had the key blade twisted out of the blade holder on like the third try. They took it back with no fuss no mus.
Did you email or speak with them? I would be really surprised if they made you buy a new remote. Maybe you should ask for reimbursement for a new blade?
Driving my JT at about 2,500 miles the check engine light started to flash. No driveability symptoms. For about 10 seconds then shut off. I have 2,950 on it now and hasn't been on since. Am just going to keep an eye on it till I get it in for the next LOF.
I have 18" tires on my Overland.
I put on LT295 70 R18 with 1 3/4" spacers. No rubbing what so ever!
And the spare tire fit just fine. The spare can take up to a 35" tire.The LT spec is 34.3"
I used an ECRI to program the computer for the new tire size.
