    The Air dam creates a low-pressure zone, venturi effect. This helps at highway speeds, for the radiator CFM airflow to improve, which helps with engine cooling.

    This all depends on the capability of the 18-year-old. Some 18-year-olds are very capable of driving very safe, and some no way! This applies to a Wrangler, Gladiator, or any vehicle.

    I reside in hot as hell Phoenix. The factory installed coolers on my Jeeps, seem to do an excellent job of cooling. Just keep the bugs externally flushed out of them, and the factory trans cooler will cool just fine.
